Pride at U of T Spaces & Experiences
Over 90 S&E staff members came together to celebrate and honour the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at U of T with delicious food, great music, and vibrant live entertainment.
Our teams specialize in creating and building meaningful Spaces & Experiences. We collaborate with in house experts and external stakeholders to enhance the campus community. Here are some of the unique projects that we have worked on:
Over 90 S&E staff members came together to celebrate and honour the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at U of T with delicious food, great music, and vibrant live entertainment.
“With this particular collection, I wanted to let students who look like me know that they are represented here,” said Derrell, who is also the student lead on the Black Student Engagement team. “They belong here at this university.”
Spaces & Experiences has a host of festive activities planned and an incredible Lunar New Year capsule collection available right now through The Bookstore at all three campuses and online.
Startup co-founders and siblings Sydnie and Malik Pottinger are set to make history by becoming the first students to partner with the University of Toronto’s Trademark Licensing Office to create a capsule collection with their clothing brand MOTUS.
MOTUS has gone from its modest beginning in their parents’ Ottawa basement to the newest apparel collaboration at U of T. But how did it all begin? Malik, the eldest sibling, talks about the genesis of the brand.
One of the most visible ways that S&E supports Pride is through the Pride capsule collection of merchandise, now in its third year. The Pride collections generally sell out, and this year’s collection is the largest ever.
The University of Toronto has partnered with OVO to launch a unique capsule collection for students who want to wear their pride in their university and their city.
