Spaces & Experiences recently had the opportunity to speak to three former residents of UFH’s Charles Street community (two of whom are currently working as Community Program Support Staff at UFH) that lived at UFH for many years and still call it home.
U of T Marks Diwali: The holiday of lights and sweetness was recently celebrated on campus with a festive meal and special decorations at our dining halls.

❄️New College Dining Commons will be closed after breakfast service on December 21, 2025, and reopen on January 3, 2026 for lunch service.
❄️CampusOne and Oak House Dining Commons will be closed after dinner service on December 21, 2025, and reopen on January 3, 2026 for lunch service.
❄️Chestnut Dining Commons will be closed after dinner service on December 22, 2025, and reopen on January 3, 2026 for lunch service.
❄️Sid’s Food Hall will be closed on December 22, 2025, and reopen on January 5, 2026.
❄️Robarts and MSB Food Hall will be closed on December 23, 2025, and reopen on January 5, 2026.

Earlier this fall, U of T welcomed acclaimed author and activist Arundhati Roy to Convocation Hall to celebrate the launch of her new memoir, "Mother Mary Comes to Me", in which she explores the beautiful yet complicated bond with her mother.
Presented in partnership with U of T’s Women and Gender Studies Institute, Another Story Bookshop and Simon & Schuster Canada, the event drew a full house of avid readers, interested students and community members for an engaging and thoughtful conversation about Roy’s new memoir and her work.
Our team at Campus Events & Conference Services was pleased to help bring this memorable evening to life. We worked with organizers to coordinate event details and the logistics of the Hall, ensuring an enjoyable evening for all guests and audience members.
