Spaces & Experiences celebrated staff reaching major service milestones at a special ceremony recently. Hosted by AVP Anne Macdonald, the event honoured employees with 25 and 30 years of service, recognizing their dedication, professionalism, and lasting impact on the campus community alongside colleagues, friends, and family.

Oak House marks a major milestone with the celebration of its first cohort of student residents, following the building opening in 2025 as a new state-of-the-art student residence on the St. George campus.

Spaces & Experiences recently had the opportunity to speak to three former residents of UFH’s Charles Street community (two of whom are currently working as Community Program Support Staff at UFH) that lived at UFH for many years and still call it home.

U of T Marks Diwali: The holiday of lights and sweetness was recently celebrated on campus with a festive meal and special decorations at our dining halls.

The green roof atop the Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus directly supports U of T’s Climate Positive Action Plan.

S&E’s Trademark Licensing helps shepherd a new and fresh look to a collaboration featuring two iconic Canadian brands.

On Tuesday, August 12, OREP staff were recognized with an annual awards presentation and the esteemed SVP Award. Held in University College’s beautiful quad, staff was treated to a BBQ lunch as awards were given out recognizing Individual Impact, Service Excellence and Teamwork.

The University of Toronto played a starring role in the programming at Toronto Tech Week. Spaces & Experiences took on a major role in the event by showcasing the myriad ways U of T is integrated with – and drives – Toronto’s innovation ecosystem.

Over 90 S&E staff members came together to celebrate and honour the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at U of T with delicious food, great music, and vibrant live entertainment.

“With this particular collection, I wanted to let students who look like me know that they are represented here,” said Derrell, who is also the student lead on the Black Student Engagement team. “They belong here at this university.”
