Fall Campus Day 2025 was a success! 💫 S&E`s Campus Events & Conference Services (CECS) team was busy working with organizers and volunteers to ensure the spaces on campus they manage were primed and ready to host different activities throughout the day.
This year, they had their hands full coordinating the Engineering Club’s Fair in the Bahen Centre for Information Technology, organizing information sessions for the Faculty of Arts & Science at Convocation Hall, and setting up the Arts, Commerce and Student Life Information Fair in the Great Hall at Hart House, just to name a few.
The CECS team continues to collaborate with units and departments across campus to create a seamless and inspiring experience for all attendees. A huge thank you to everyone who made this year’s event such a success! 💙💫

Campus Events & Conference Services (CECS) supports the coordination and logistics of thousands of events held on campus each year. All varying in size and scope, the CECS team works with organizers to ensure each event is flawlessly executed so all guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
A couple of events CECS had a hand in bringing to life this year include Toronto Tech Week, which brought together AI and tech professionals from across the city, and Science Rendezvous, Canada’s largest public science festival. Both large-scale events, Toronto Tech Week presented a keynote with Nobel laureate Geoffrey Hinton at Convocation Hall and hosted the Lawn Party in Knox Quad, while Science Rendezvous invited families to participate in fun hands-on activities spread out across the university’s front campus grounds.
CECS also helped to organize the book launch of award-winning author and political activist Arundhati Roy’s new memoir, “Mother Mary Comes to Me,” at Convocation Hall. The event drew a full house of avid readers, students and community members for an engaging discussion about Roy’s new memoir and her body of work.
S&E is proud to have CECS as part of our portfolio, creating opportunities for connection and conversation at the heart of the St. George campus.
