Want to play Basketball at Hart House?

It’s game on. S&E residents are hitting the hardwood in the inaugural season of the S&E Hoops Collective—a weekly, community-first basketball experience hosted in the legendary 107-year-old Hart House gym.

Whether you’re here to compete, break a sweat, or just hoop for fun, this program is built for residents 15+ of all skill levels. Come solo or bring your crew – just show up ready to play, connect, and have a good time.

What’s Included Each Week

  • Refereed games, grouped by age and skill level
  • Basketball fundamentals & skill development, plus team-building activities
  • Championship tournament, players must play at least 5 games to qualify

Who Can Play

  • Open to S&E residents aged 18+
  • Residents aged 15–17 are welcome, but must be registered by a parent or legal guardian
  • Participants must live in one of the following residences: Chestnut, CampusOne, Knox, Graduate House, University Family Housing, or Oak House

Drop-Ins & Spectators

  • Drop-ins welcome (space permitting): $5 per session
  • Limited number of spectators welcome, there is no seating
  • Payment is collected prior to entry (see Payment Information in FAQ)
